The Catch Series: Guided Fly Fishing at the Mount Juliet Estate Mount Juliet estate offers 2.5 miles of exceptional, private fishing on famous River Nore, Co. Kilkenny. The beautiful Manor House provides a fully equipped fishing room for your convenience and is also a perfect base for your fly-fishing day, offering lunch and accommodation for longer stays. Your guide, Dan O’Neill, is the estate Fishery Manager, with unrivalled experience and great enthusiasm for these picturesque and productive waters of the fabulous River Nore. The Nore is a fast-flowing river offering a wide variety of accessible and more challenging water. Techniques vary according to conditions, expect to fish dry fly, nymph and streamers in high water conditions. Brown Trout range from 25cm up to 40cm. Some previous fly-fishing experience is an advantage. Equipment is not provided and a kit list will be given to you ahead of attending. Location: Mount Juliet Estate, Co.
