Field Notes

This is a saltwater tarpon fly tied with rabbit fur for a lot of movement in the water. It is best cast to cruising or laid-up tarpon and stripped back with steady retrieves or short twitches to imitate a fleeing baitfish. The strong Owner Aki hook makes it suited for hard-fighting fish and heavy-duty saltwater use.
