STONE CATTIES

The FITT STONE CATTIE, often replicated, never duplicated! "Oh check it out, a baby catfish" is a very popular first reaction when seeing a stone cattie for the fist time. Smallmouth bass consider the stone catfish (mad- tom) a delicacy and feed on them whenever they are present. These 3" stone catties feature one and two-color laminated bodies as stone cat colors vary in different bodies of water throughout the country. This specialty soft-bait has a circular spot directly behind the dorsal fin for the hook point exit for easy and exact rigging every time. We found what works best is either our 1/8 oz. & 3/16 oz. stand-up jigs, and football heads with or without a rock guard. (shown below) Both present the bait with a tail high profile which gives the tail a lifelike, moving presentation in current.
