Stan's French Pinkies

Another nymph with a difference from Stan, the French Pinkie. This fly is tied to perfection (as is usual with any of Stan's flies) - and he's been experimenting again! Let me introduce you to Stan's French Pinkie Nymph, which are avialable in 3 different 2.0mm glass bead colour variations: Baby Pink Orange; and Pearl White Each nymph is tied with a specialist French Braid body. Each of Stan's French Pinkie Nymphs are tied on Dohiku HD645 size 14 barbless hooks. A great fly to try at this time of year. This style of nymph is really successful (especially through Autumn and into December) in all of our rivers (and Stillwaters), with Grayling (and Rainbow Trout) gorging on them as they become dislodged. Trundle one of these along the riverbed and hang on! This nymph imitation is ideally used as a dropper fly in any nymphing setup (and great for sight nymphing in slower flows).
