SPECIALIST S3 RODS The new Wychwood Specialists S3 rod series have been built on ultra slim blanks that feature a 3K carbon weave throughout. Designed in-house in the UK, this new series of rods have been developed for the serious specialist / Barbel angler. Utilising the best Toray Carbon, we have used a natural sanded matt finish throughout, to prevent any glare or flash from the blank that could spook fish on clear waters. The blanks feature classic olive-green whipping, with black trim, and a matching olive-green full Duplon handle complimented with a DPS reel seat. The blanks also feature quality Sea Guides throughout. The lighter tip twin rods feature soft forgiving tops, for easy bite indication, which is required when fishing with more finesse. Moving up the range, the rods become more powerful, and are ideal for fishing at distance on lakes, or tackling rivers when they are carrying extra water. The length is ideal for small rivers, streams and still waters, targeting chub, Roach, Tench or bream. The length makes it suitable for roving, yet the extra power it features enables the rod to be used on a wide range of venues. This is the perfect rod if you are looking at tackling larger still waters for Carp, Tench or Bream, as targeting Barbel on rivers. A true allrounder with an unbelievable action.
