Smithwick Deep Suspending Rattlin' Rogue

The Smithwick Deep Suspending Rattlin’ Rogue or “spoonbill” Rogue as it is known to old timers is in simple terms a Suspending Rattlin’ Rogue body with an extra-long bill to reach deeper water on the retrieve. It was originally created to reach deep suspended bass in the wintertime, but it was found to be an excellent option when trolling for walleye on the Great Lakes. It works great on a twitch-twitch-pause retrieve, trolled, or reeled steadily for a subtle minnow look.
