Description

Sometimes you just have to downsize. However, downsizing should not mean you are restricting yourself to smaller fish. This is the Infamous Small Brown Trout Jerkbait as seen on YouTube. This smaller bait (2 1/2 inches) is big on action and strength. Right now these are producing trout in the local waters at surprising numbers. These lures were inspired by a local PA fisherman who seems to catch trout on demand here in the local waters. Keep in mind it's spring HERE and these finesse jerkbaits are going to really shine this year. Originally designed with Smallmouth bass in mind this lure will produce Largemouth or maybe you just want some slab Crappie, this is the lure! And don't forget to send some pictures of your catches. NOTE: Each bait is hand painted in the order they are received. I make every effort to ship the baits within 3 days of receiving the order, however during the busy season it can take up to 5 to 8 business days to ship the baits. In most cases they do ship within 3 days, I never want to make anyone wait but I do need to maintain quality so it can take time sometimes.

Field Notes

A downsized finesse jerkbait for situations where bass or trout are feeding on smaller forage. It is especially suited to spring fishing and can be worked with sharp twitches and pauses to trigger reaction strikes. The smaller profile also makes it a good choice for smallmouth, largemouth, and even crappie when fish are pressured or keyed on tiny bait.

Pros

  • Small 2.5-inch profile for finesse presentations
  • Designed to produce strong action despite the compact size
  • Versatile for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, trout, and crappie

Cons

  • Hand-painted baits may have longer shipping times
  • Small size may not appeal when fish are focused on larger forage
