The Slopmaster is designed to lure muskies and big pike out of heavy weed cover. Its standout feature is a hydroplaning head, which allows anglers to fish through thick vegetation “without getting hung up,” making it effective when fish bury themselves deep in cover such as during cold fronts. The lure’s wire arm shape, flat horizontal hydroplaning head, and up-riding hook help it “slip, slither and slide through obstacles with no hang-ups.”
