This bait skims across the surface of the water like a fleeing baitfish. Predator fish cannot resist a chance to attack. A fleeing baitfish triggers an natural instinct to attack. If the bass are not hungry you have to go for that reaction strike and this will do it. I have found this lure to be especially fun top fish in rivers. I just cast it up to the shore and erratically retrieve it back to me. I have caught fish this way at lakes and ponds too but I just love throwing it in the river for some reason.
