Simms offers Alumabite (softer, molds better) and Hardbite (carbide construction, more durable with textured overlays for penetration) cleats. Studs are recommended for slippery moss, algae, or slime as they penetrate the material to grip the substrate beneath. They are also the only option for felt outsoles.
