The PMD is arguably the most important mafly hatch in the West. It is very important because it hatches over a long period of time and the trout eat them in all stages of life. Like the name implies, they hatch in the morning and come off throughout the day. This pattern was developed for particularly picky trout designed for those lower light conditions. An absolutely wonderful pattern that will have all your buddies begging for what you're using.
