Description

The SHIKARI 145 is a long-casting, shallow diving, slow floating jerkbait with a tungsten weight transfer system. The internal weight slides backward into the tail when casting to maximize distance, and then rolls forward when being retrieved to balance the lure and keep it perfectly level. The Shikari can be twitched hard on the retrieve to produce an erratic action where the lure will turn 180° triggering violent strikes from inshore gamefish. It can also be trolled with a significant body roll, and when retrieved will produce a nose to tail whole body wiggle, making it highly appealing to all predators. The Shikari 145 is a Striped Bass casting weapon , whether from the boat or from shore, this bait is designed to cast a long way and catch fish. Every Nomad Design lure has been crafted by decades of experience on the water to be tougher, last longer and to catch more fish. Field Notes

Use this jerkbait when fish are feeding on baitfish and you need a long-casting lure for covering water. It works well with hard twitches to trigger erratic turns and can also be trolled for a body-roll presentation. The shallow-diving profile makes it a good choice for inshore structure, flats edges, and shoreline casting.

  • Erratic 180° turn on hard twitches
  • Can be cast or trolled
