The Royal Stimulator is a legendary attractor dry fly, combining the profile of Randall Kaufmann's original Stimulator and the color scheme of the iconic Royal Wulff. It's big bushy silhouette can imitate a large caddis, a stonefly, or a terrestrial like a grasshopper and these qualities make it highly buoyant fly, capable of anchoring larger weighted nymphs as a dropper.
