RIO's Wright BBL is an excellent choice for fishing in deep or dirty water, where visibility is crucial. The flash used on for each color not only helps the fly stand out in murky conditions but also imitates the natural gases trapped in the abdomen of real pupae as they ascend to hatch. Fish it suspended under an indicator, dropped straight down on a fast-sinking line, or slowly retrieved on a floating line with a long leader. A super-slow hand-twist with the occasional twitch is often all it takes to trigger a strike.
