We made two tweaks to the OG Gold Jigger, first, we used one bead size larger to help keep it in the zone while fishing in current. Also, by adding rubber legs, this fly now fishes more like a stonefly nymph vs a leech.

Field Notes

This is a weighted nymph-style fly designed to get down quickly and stay in the feeding lane, especially in current. Fish it under an indicator, as part of a euro-nymph rig, or as a dropper when trout are holding near the bottom. The added rubber legs and bead make it a good choice when you want a more stonefly-like profile and extra movement.
