Description
Many migrating salmon meet their end by bears. The eggs of a hen that don't geteaten by the bear drift downstream in small clumps. For years, anglers haverepresented this clump with roe sacks, Corkies/yarn, or Oakie Drifters, etc. Now flyanglers have an option. This fly represents either a single egg with loose skeinaround it, or a small cluster of eggs. Tied on the trusted "Glo Bug" hook fromGamakatsu. The fly comes with either a 3.8mm or 4.6mm off-set tungsten bead soyou can adapt to different water flows. This fly can be fished under an indicator likeany egg pattern, but now Euro anglers can easily fish it too. Also, a 3.8mm tungstenbead weighs roughly the same as a lead "BB" shot and the 4.6mm tungsten bead isabout the same as the 3/0 lead shot. These are the two most used lead shot whenfishing beads. The colors represented here cover the range that eggs can take on.From the freshest, most vibrant to the opaque "dead" look. This fly looks okay dry,but absolutely amazing wet.
