The Reef Thief is our hybrid micro jig, designed for versatility. Its slender profile allows anglers to work it aggressively, whether slow or fast, adapting to their preferred technique. One of its biggest advantages is its ability to target a variety of species beyond reef dwellers. For example, when a kingfish bite starts to slow, switching from large 100-200g upright jigs to our 60g and 80g Reef Thief can effectively prolong the action—something we’ve proven time and time again. Additionally, the slender profile of the Reef Thief makes it an excellent alternative to a metal slug. It can be cast from the beach or rocks to target staple species like salmon and tailor.
