POWER THREAD MEDIUM

Technical polymer with a very high breaking strength in relation to its diameter, up to ten times higher than steel of the same diameter, suitable for tying medium and large-sized flies where a very strong yet non-invasive thread is required. Thanks to its calibrated twist, the fibers remain well bonded but still lay very flat and smooth, creating very uniform and stepless underbodies and heads. Available in red, black (solid colors that do not fade during use), and natural white that can be easily colored with a permanent marker. Perfect for medium to large-sized flies when strength needs to go hand in hand with the filling properties of the thread. As it is a very slippery polymer, it is recommended to use it in combination with cyanoacrylate glue before crucial steps of the fly tying process. - 100 meter spool - 100 Denier - Breaking strain of 3.80 kg. - Use of a bobbin with a ceramic tip is recommended
