Work the Polaris Popper on the surface with short, sharp rod twitches to create popping/commotion. Use it in calm-to-moderate conditions where you can see or hear the splash and keep the lure walking/popping in the strike zone.

Pros

  • Surface popping action draws fish from a distance
  • Works well for reaction strikes when bass/predators are near the top
  • Multiple color options/patterns for different light and water clarity

Cons

  • Requires surface activity/visibility to be most effective
  • Can be less productive in heavy wind or very rough water where control is difficult
