THE PATTERN At the bend at Vaehaeniva Mikael hooked a great fish, his friend and boatsman said that if he could hold it in the pool he would eat it raw! He did not have to - the salmon took Mikael down through the pools almost a kilometer before they could land it - it weighted over 40 lbs. Vaehaeniva is a super fly for dusk and dawn.
