Pflueger Akron No.1893 Level-Wind Reel . This Akron dates to the 1932-late 30s . An agate jeweled oil cup model as well. All functions work well and have been oiled/greased, however this reel still has some minor rust, scratches and some marks. Still a beautiful reel that's been fixed up and is ready to be fished or added to your collection. Complete with a genuine purple agate jewel in the oil cup. This one cleaned up beautifully and functions almost like it was brand new Pflueger Akron: Excerpt from the 1937 Pflueger Pocket Catalog- The Akron, while offered at a popular price, has many built-in qualities and features usually found only in the more expensive reels.
