Pettirosso Hare's Ear Nymph (6 flies)

These Pettirosso Nymph (or the Robin Nymph) are tied on a Moonlit ML502 Barbless Jig Hook with a 3mm tungsten bead. Hare's Ear Nymphs are always productive patterns and this Pettirosso Nymph is an awesome soft hackle nymph on a jig hook. Excellent in slightly faster water or when the fish are hugging the bottom. This iconic nymph pattern became popular among competition fly anglers in the 1990s and originated in Italy. Includes 6 Pettirosso Nymph flies. Brent used these Pettirosso Hare's Ear Nymphs quite a bit this 2025 season with lots of luck, even during off fishing hours. It is definitely a confidence fly for Brent.
