Our recommendations are: Medium Power for jigging 1/4oz - 3/4 oz Jigs Medium Heavy Power for 3/8oz - 1 oz Jigs Heavy Power for 1/2oz - 1.25oz Jigs Rod Length - 5'9", 5'11 and 6'2" The length of a fishing rod is measured from the tip of the rod to the handle.
