Description
Designed for real fishing use After using dozens of different knives during countless fishing trips, none of which quite fit the job, we sat down at the Norolan coffee table and asked ourselves: what makes a truly reliable fishing knife? We didn’t just want a decent knife, we wanted a tool that performs where it matters. Handcrafted in Finland with premium quality and practicality at its core. The result is a versatile knife for cutting line, cleaning fish and handling everyday tasks by the water or at camp. It’s rust free, razor-sharp, safe to use even with wet hands and light enough to carry on every trip. This is the kind of fishing knife every angler will appreciate, especially when versatility and reliability matter most. Norolan fishing knife Heikki Alakulppi from Rovaniemi is one of Finland’s most respected knife makers. With experience crafting premium knives for Marttiini, he worked with us to design a blade suited for real fishing use, balancing control, durability and versatility. A blade from the heart of Finnish knife-making For the blade, we turned to Kauhava , Finland’s knife capital. There, Laurin Metalli , founded in 1908, has been producing high-quality blades for over a century. Their stainless steel blades are known for maintaining sharpness and being easy to care for. The blade length offers added versatility compared to shorter fillet knives, making it suitable not only for fish processing but also for general outdoor use.
