Field Notes

Use the Ned head on a finesse soft-plastic worm (Ned-style) and fish it on light line with a controlled drag along the bottom. Keep contact with the jig, then let it sit briefly to trigger bites, especially around rocks, weeds edges, and current seams.

Pros

  • Sickle-style hook design suited for Ned-style finesse presentations
  • 100% recycled lead
  • Fully cured powder coat paint for durability (less chipping)

Cons

  • Requires pairing with a soft-plastic Ned worm/trailer to fish effectively
  • Multiple sizes/colors may require matching to local conditions
