Miami Vice Illude Double 2 pc Carbon

The Illude Double is proven to the Rad Rat family as the biggest fish catcher, most double digits, largest at 12 lbs. When we designed this bait, all we were thinking about was "bubbles!" Historically, baits that produce a lot of bubbles have an enormous impact on attracting fish. Classic examples of baits that cause enormous amounts of bubbles are the buzz bait, the jitter bug, the popper, and the infamous Whopper Plopper amongst many others. As we were thinking through our design criteria, we had to think of how we were able to build a bait that caused loud & obnoxious surface bubbles at a minimal retrieve speed. After testing our design, we found that creating a certain amount of space between the joints at a particular angle trapped the perfect amount of air to do so. And during the testing stages of our design, “boy was it fun!” We are extremely excited to give you our newest wood rat with the most obnoxious and noisiest surface bubbles you’ll ever fish.
