Description

The Menace from Livingston Lures is a predator lure with an attitude. Designed by musky and pike authority Steven Paul, the Menace is built to put trophy-class fish in the net when other presentations fall short. The Menace packs a heavy punch in a small frame, thanks to its aggressive trident-style tail and radically soft-body design. This lure excels in pull-pause jerkbait presentations, delivering erratic, strike-inducing movement, but it’s just as deadly when worked like a popping tube, bouncing off structure and through ambush zones. The Menace’s fast, vertical fall is perfect for forward-facing sonar applications and provokes violent reaction strikes from apex predators tracking their prey from below. During the pause or on the fall, the Menace’s rounded belly produces an irresistible rocking wobble that mimics a stunned or fleeing baitfish—exactly what triggers commitment from big fish. The Menace is powered by Livingston’s EBS™ (Electronic Baitfish Sound) Technology, which guarantees it doesn’t just move like prey—it sounds like it, too and effectively called fish in from double the distance of traditional lures. Use this lure for trophy pike and musky when fish are keyed on baitfish and reacting to erratic movement. It works well on a pull-pause retrieve, as a jerkbait-style presentation, or bounced around structure where its fast fall and rocking wobble can trigger strikes. The EBS sound feature is meant to call fish in from a distance, making it useful when covering water or fishing forward-facing sonar.
