The OceanMax OMS Specialty Lever Drag Reels are custom designed for live- and dead-bait trolling, kite fishing or drift-bait techniques where high-speed retrieves, fluid drop backs and ultra-smooth, light-line drags are needed. The graduated, carbon-fiber drag system is designed for use with monofilament lines and has positive stop pin strike and full-drag settings for line ratings of 15- to 25-pound test. The click detent drag preset won’t drift once it has been set, and the reel can easily match drag range to line test. Machined from rigid, one-piece tempered aluminum billets and features a cold-forged aluminum spool that stands up to monofilament stretch. The 5.8:1 gear ratio assures fast line recovery through precise, heat-treated stainless steel gears. Six shielded stainless steel ball bearings are strategically located for smoothness and power transfer. All stainless steel spool click mechanisms will stand up to the longest runoffs.
