The Luxxe 7" AviC is a lure designed to capture that range, just a few centimeters below the surface, where the lure never completely breaks the water's surface. It's the AviC that captures that intense fish-striking range. The AviC incorporates lure designer Takuma Akamatsu's formula for achieving the "catching action that grabs the water and sways exquisitely, a style characteristic of handmade lures." While swaying action attracts many fish, the resulting disturbance in the action vibrations can lead to the lure being overlooked. Therefore, the AviC aimed to achieve a swaying action without disrupting the vibrations. By intentionally positioning the weight unbalanced relative to the lip angle, the action is significantly disrupted, and the tail is designed to control it. By balancing this disruption and control, the lure doesn't lose its momentum and sways, but instead firmly grips the water, resulting in a swaying trajectory. The AviC features a slightly longer lip allowing you to control the swimming depth with your retrieve speed. It swims steadily even during slow retrievals. At higher speeds, its high buoyancy allows you to reach the correct depth and prevents the action from breaking down. The longer lip also acts as a hook guard, making it suitable for fishing around cover.
