Description
A CDC emerger that sits just within the surface film for when trout selectively take nymphs and emergers. Fish this trailing behind a heavier fly in tandem rig or use a long and light fly leader to cast several feet above rising trout. Most mayflies 'hatch' in the afternoons. Look to trout rising in bubbly seamlines and slack water on the edges of pools and runs. Sulphurs, Blue-Winged Olives, & Hendricksons CDC loop wing. Nymphal shuck tail.
