Field Notes

This is a spook-style topwater plug meant to be cast and worked with a walking retrieve. It is best over open water, along flats, or near bait where fish are feeding on the surface or just below it.

Pros

  • Walks and dances well on the surface

  • Not ideal in heavy vegetation or snaggy cover
  • Topwater effectiveness drops in rough water
