Description

Jigging World Jigging Flutter Spoons are rigged and ready right out of the package to help land you your next personal best Striped Bass! Flutter spoons are a highly effective lure that imitates a wounded bunker aka menhaden. On the fall, these spoons will flutter slowly down the water column. Our version of the flutter spoons comes rigged with our Zblade Siwash Hooks instead of treble hooks to prevent unwanted injury to fish. The added natural bucktail on our Zblade Siwash Hooks will help the lure flutter at a slower pace. Product Features: Hook Size 7.5" - 6/0 9" - 7/0 Heavy-Duty Swivels & Split Rings How To Use: All you need to do is drop down this Jigging Flutter Spoon to the bottom and then take one crank off the bottom. Swing your rod upwards and let the spoon do its job dropping back down while fluttering, but make sure to lower your rod as the spoon drops. By keeping tension on your line while this lure falls will prevent the lure from its optimal flutter action. Repeat this until you get a strike and always be prepared to get bit both on the fall and while you swing your rod upwards.

Field Notes

Drop it to bottom and work it with an up-and-down jigging motion so it can flutter on the fall. Best for striped bass when fish are feeding on bunker/menhaden imitations, especially around deeper water where a falling spoon can trigger bites. Keep slack on the drop to maximize the flutter action and be ready to strike on both the lift and fall.

  • Rigged and ready out of the package
  • Slow fluttering fall imitates wounded baitfish
  • Heavy-duty swivels and split rings
  • Siwash hooks with bucktail help slow the descent

Cons

  • More specialized than a standard spoon
