Description

Talk about bang for your buck! This bait must be bi-polar because it certainly packs a couple different personalities whereas it can pass for a fleeting shad or it can represent a bluegill all at the same time. Tie this mamma jamma on when there's an early morning shad spawn going on or if/when big schools of crappie and bluegill come up in droves from deeper water to the shallow flats. Make the most of your day and baitfish arsenal by packing a few of these with you on your next outing. It's a VERY unique pattern and one that the bass simply have never seen before and won't hesitate to chomp once the seductive slashing action of this bait draws 'em in close quarters! It's Kinda like getting a 2 for 1 bait here! All happily brought to you by Clique Baits... you're welcome :)

Field Notes

Use around shad spawns and when bass are feeding on baitfish in shallow flats. The bait’s slashing action makes it a good choice for covering water and triggering reaction strikes near schools of crappie or bluegill. Best worked with a twitch-and-pause retrieve to imitate an injured minnow.

Pros

  • Unique baitfish profile that can mimic shad or bluegill
  • Strong reaction-strike appeal
  • Good for shallow feeding situations

Cons

  • May be too specialized for anglers wanting a standard baitfish look
  • Likely less effective when bass are not keyed on baitfish
