This is a Spook Jr.-style walking topwater bait for covering water and drawing reaction strikes. Work it with a steady walk-the-dog retrieve over shallow flats, points, and around bait activity, especially in low-light periods or when bass are feeding near the surface.

Pros

  • Excellent surface commotion for reaction bites
  • Good for covering water quickly
  • Effective around schooling fish and shallow cover

Cons

  • Less effective in heavy wind or rough water
  • Requires some cadence control to walk properly
