At this time of year, one of the most popular imitations to use on both Rivers and Stillwaters is an emerger. These usually are more productive when tied with CdC, as the way they present is exactly like the emerging insect. This special Hot-Spot Dun CDC Emerger is tied by Lucian Vasies and is an emerger fly that will work when a massive hatch of small brown ephemera is present. It is tied with CdC and can be fished in the water film to be closer to the natural stage of the imitated fly.
