Description

The Hot-Flash blade creates a swimming minnow effect. To create this blade we started with a hammered blade and by not painting the bottom 1/3, a hammered nickel or gold effect is still maintained on the front of the blade. Then we added a very attractive two-toned look to the front of the blade. The darker colors are at the top of the blade while an oversize prism eye is applied to create the head of the minnow. Finally a coat of glitter is applied to simulate the scales. We then cover the entire blade with a coat of epoxy to enhance the colors and protect the finish. This series uses an all new #4 Red Premium hook. The “Hot-Flash” blade has a unique “swimming minnow look.” The blade is the end result of reading and listening to what elements make up the ultimate spinner blade. #2 Indiana Blade #4 Premium Red Hook 42” 12lb. Field Notes

This is a pre-tied spinner rig with a flashy Indiana blade and red premium hook, designed to imitate a swimming minnow. It is best used for trolling or slow casting behind a boat when fish are keyed on baitfish and flash. The 42-inch leader and 12 lb test make it a practical rig for covering water and presenting live bait or a crawler-style setup.

Pros

  • Flashy minnow imitation with strong attraction
  • Pre-tied and ready to fish
  • Long 42-inch leader helps separate bait from blade

Cons

  • Specialized presentation, not a general-purpose lure
  • Best results usually require trolling or steady retrieve
