Hornet

Named after the Fighter Jet F/A -18 Hornet, this bait was designed by Pro Staff Team Member Cody Shaw who was looking for a customizable, versatile straight-tailed plastic. This plastic has a strong, two-part body like our Apache bait with the addition of a long, straight tail that has additional appendages off the end. Use the whole plastic on an active, aggressive bite or remove the top ball and arms and even the legs off the tail to streamline the bait on a finicky, finesse bite without having to dig a different plastic out of your tackle box. This bait will excel during both the open and hardwater seasons. Put this under a float or jig it in open water situations or thread it on a tungsten jig when dropping it through the ice. The 1" Hornet works best on jigs smaller than 5mm and is great for targeting any species of panfish. The 2" option is perfect for targeting walleye and bass as well as trophy panfish during the open water season. As seen on Sportsman's Journal TV in the larger 2" profile.
