HITMAN JIGS

This football jig utilizes a unique custom bent Gamakatsu medium wire hook. The hook has the best of both worlds! The diameter of the hook combined with a wide gap makes this jig perform better on those long casts over open water that normally is associated with using football jigs. One thing you will notice is how well this jig stands up. This serves two purposes. First, when you add a soft plastic trailer the jig head gives the trailer the distinct defensive posture of a crawfish. Secondly, the angle of the hook as it rests on the bottom makes it easier for fish to pick up which provides more and better hook sets.
