Field Notes

This is a surface fly designed to imitate a frog gliding across the water, so it shines when fish are looking up. Use it with short strips and pauses around shoreline cover, lily pads, or other ambush points for bass and other predatory fish. It can also be fished for saltwater species when they are feeding near the surface.
