Field Notes

This is a bulky creature bait designed for bass fishing around heavy cover, especially when rigged Texas style, Carolina style, or on a shaky head. The buoyant ElaZtech material helps it rise off the bottom at rest, while the twin curly tails and side appendages create subtle movement with very little rod action.

Pros

  • Buoyant material lifts off the bottom at rest
  • Durable ElaZtech construction
  • Good for heavy cover and flipping presentations
  • Subtle, continuous action from tails and appendages

Cons

  • Creature-bait profile may be less natural in ultra-clear, finesse-heavy situations
  • Bulkier shape can be harder to fish in very tight cover than slimmer plastics
