Green Weenie

Few flies match the simplicity and productivity of the green weenie. A summertime and fall favorite for anglers across the country, this fly does a great job of imitating inchworms or caddis larvae. Not only does this fly have a level of productivity that anglers appreciate, it’s also extremely versatile. It can be used as the trailing fly in a multiple nymph rig or a dropper behind a dry fly. Fish it tight to the bank to properly mimic an inchworm falling into the water.
