Airflo G5 Fluorocarbon Tapered Leaders run from 1X down to 7X — a finer range than the mono Tactical series, which is the point. Where mono leaders suit general presentation across most conditions, the G5 fluoro earns its place on clear spring creeks, low tailwaters, and any situation where fish are scrutinizing the tippet. The fine end (5X–7X) nearly disappears in the water column on crystal-clear flat water where a visible leader means refusals; the middle range (3X–4X) handles nymphing setups where the sink rate advantage of fluorocarbon matters as much as visibility; and 1X–2X bridges the gap to heavier subsurface and light streamer presentations in clear water.
