Floating trout eggs are used as a scent/attractant bait for trout and other bait-feeding fish. They work best on a small hook or under a float in slow water, drifts, or when fish are keyed on egg presentations.

Pros

  • Floating design helps keep bait up in the strike zone

Cons

  • Primarily a trout bait, not a bass lure
  • Can be less effective in heavy current or when fish want larger offerings
