Description

A flagship material and a true legend in fly tying, EP® Fibers have been trusted by anglers for over 30 years. Beautifully translucent, these fibers provide a unique action that falls perfectly between marabou and bucktail. Highly durable, they withstand countless strikes while remaining easy to cast — water shakes right off on the first back cast, as they do not absorb moisture. “The one that started it all! I created the original EP® Fibers back in the late '80s, which was then used to create my Peanut Butter® fly pattern, along with most of today's EP® Flies patterns.” – Enrico EP® Fibers excel at mimicking baitfish in both fresh and saltwater, from the tiniest forage to larger profiles. They are also ideal for crab and shrimp patterns and are a top choice for creating tarpon flies. With their versatility and performance, these fibers let your creativity run wild. Additionally, they are very cost-effective: for a #2/0 baitfish pattern like our Peanut Butter®, two bags of fibers (one top color and one bottom color) can produce 22–28 flies, depending on how full or sparse you prefer the patterns. Features: Highly durable, water-shedding, easy to cast Versatility: Create anything from baitfish to crustaceans, fresh or saltwater, small or large flies EP® Fibers aren’t just materials—they’re the foundation of countless classic fly patterns and a must-have for any serious fly tier. Hot Pink and Yellow Chartreuse are UV responsive. For a full line of UV fibers, check out EP® Fibers Ultra UV. For the color blended option of this material, see EP® Fibers 3-D.
