Artificial anchovy and herring strips are best used as bait-style soft plastics for offshore predators feeding on small forage. Rig them to mimic a baitfish profile and fish them where tuna, mahi, or other pelagics are keyed in on bait schools. They are especially useful when you want a subtle, natural presentation rather than a hard-bodied lure.
