Artificial anchovy and herring strips are used as bait strips or scent trailers on rigs for salmon and steelhead. They’re best when you want added flash and scent imitation in moving water or when fish are keyed on baitfish. Use them on trolling or drift setups where a bait strip presentation is effective.
