Description

This particular dubbing is unique because of its high coarseness and the adaptable individual hollow fibres of winter deer fur. It's commonly used as a dubbing with a loop technique. The mixture comes in natural colours and ten different shades, and it's best for creating stunning bodies of Peeping Caddis patterns, larger dry fly bodies, Goddard Sedge-style caddis patterns, or for the heads of Muddler Minnow-style trout streamer and wet fly patterns. Dry flies made with this dubbing are unsinkable, making them excellent for surface-feeding trout when fly fishing. Hends Deer Hair Dubbing . Is an extremely coarse material that enables an ideal imitation of insect legs, wings, muddler-type heads, and spun bodies. Deer hair is hollow and thus offers buoyancy that can be used for dry flies and many other patterns to create buoyancy. Best to dub it with wax on the thread or use a dubbing loop or split thread technique to create a nice effect.
