Football heads are used with soft plastic trailers for dragging and hopping along bottom structure. They excel on rock, ledges, and hard bottoms where the football shape helps keep the bait upright and in contact with the bottom.

  • Not ideal for heavy vegetation
  • Requires a trailer to fish effectively
