Description

'HOYA' is a slow sinking bait, designed to emulate a sardine. With it's huge 3D eyes and alluringly shiny body, this lures swimming action is spot on. A tall slender body shape makes the swimming action wider from side to side than rounder shaped stick baits. A lure that can handle a slower laid back retrieval technique, but also loves being whipped fast through the water. Works great on Mackerel. Comes with trebles fitted and a set of cozen inline singles. 85mm 20g 2 colour choices Also good for - Tuna, King fish, Taylor, Salmon and plenty more. This lure comes with treble hooks, single inline hooks and a cozen sticker

Field Notes

This sinking stick bait is built to imitate sardines and other slim baitfish, making it a good choice when predators are feeding on small forage. It can be worked with a slow, laid-back retrieve or burned faster to trigger reaction strikes, especially around surface activity or bait schools.

Pros

  • Slim baitfish profile with strong side-to-side swimming action
  • Slow-sinking design gives versatility in retrieve speed
  • Includes treble hooks and inline singles

Cons

  • Only 85 mm, so it may be less ideal when larger profile baits are needed
  • Treble hooks can be less weed-friendly and harder to unhook
