Description

The Burtek Tackle Crankin Bug was originally designed as a flipping and punching bait focused on strong action and an excellent hook-up ratio. During on-the-water testing, however, it quickly proved to be something much more — filling a unique gap between traditional bottom-contact baits and moving presentations. While fishing around cover for inactive, pressured fish, simply winding the bait in became one of the most effective techniques. When slow-rolled, the Crankin Bug will roll onto its side before naturally correcting itself back to a horizontal plane every few feet. This unpredictable, previously unseen action consistently turns followers into committed strikes. Although it remains an excellent choice for flipping and punching, the Crankin Bug truly shines when rigged on a 3/16 to 5/16 oz Texas rig and slow-rolled through cover. Its compact 4-inch profile, controlled movement, and ability to trigger reaction bites make it a powerful option for anglers looking to show bass something different. Each pack includes 7 baits , built to handle aggressive fish and repeated hooksets.
